What was once a mess hall and cluster of surrounding buildings located on the H5 region of Ensō has since been renovated. The marshy surroundings have been thickened into ground that can be treaded safely, and the former mess hall now has a foundation of cut stone to keep it from potentially sinking into the boggy ground. One of the walls has been artfully adorned in such a way that the building stands out from the encircling marsh and greenery.

Both the interior and exterior of the mess hall have been refurbished, albeit roughly. The roof has been patched, the floor is solid if somewhat weathered hardwood, and the various tables with accompanying chairs, have been provided so that they're scattered across the majority of the building's floorspace. A bar and accompanying stools has been set up at the far south end of the building. A hearth is positioned at the east wall, built roughly of stone, for the purposes of warming oneself around a fire.

Behind the bar, a door opens to a (largely unfurnished) kitchen, as well as a storage room where one can keep...pretty much anything. Foodstuffs will take precedence, particularly those that are perishable. Various crates and barrels have been rescued from the wrecks and ruins of Ensō and repurposed to house whatever goods are necessary.

Mounted above the door is a single sign, in all-caps letters: DENNY.

Nothing here technically costs a thing, unless the person serving you asks for it. Really, all you have to do is not break the following rules of the establishment...or at least not get caught breaking them:
1) BEHAVE. No brawling or picking fights. Tim spent a long time patching this place up, and he doesn't need any of you superpowered gremlins tearing it apart in record time. If you want to scrap, do it outside.

2) THAT GOES DOUBLE FOR KIDS. No alcohol for underage kids. Anyone who's getting antsy under the influence while there are kids in the vicinity might be tossed out without much warning.

3) YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT. In a matter of speaking, anyway. If you start wrecking shit, you're gonna have to compensate the people who you've set back, one way or another - whether by getting them something with a story, or replacing the thing you broke.
It's possible that people who consistently make a nuisance of themselves may face hostility upon attempting re-entry, or turned away outright. Aside from that, there are no real restrictions - pets and companions can come and go as they please, provided they don't set anything on fire as they do so.

STAFF refers to anyone who works here regularly, whether it's in cooking, serving, supplying, or anything they like. Anyone who wishes to contribute need only ask - OOCly or ICly.

Denny has a limited supply that's rather dependent on who stocks it with what, with a few notable exceptions. You can generally assume that the following is being regularly supplied:
BERRY DEADLY: Blackberry whiskey, supplied by Muffet.

HE NEEDS SOME MILK: Blueish milk, but still fundamentally milk. Once a week, on an inconsistent day, Connor Murphy just shows up with Cariborn milk. It's in the jug the Storyteller gave them in winter, so he does actually just hang around Denny for a couple hours with it - either until he gets bored or until said milk is gone. Keith Kogane occasionally also brings milk from the cow his housemates keep.

IN FRONT OF MY SALAD: Vegetable mixtures made from variations of mangoes, parsley, potatoes, mint, broccoli, carrots, sea beets, spring onions, leeks, Chinese cabbage, scallions, and radishes.

LOVELY BUNCH: A coconut, cut into halves. One half contains milk, and the other half contains the flesh. Simple, but nutritious, if you're not sick of coconuts by now.

THE MANGLER: Despite the title, it's just mangoes. Dried or fresh. Mostly dried.

MEAT RAISINS: Strips of dried meat and jerky, mostly snapling and tigershark.

NICE TO MEAT YOU: Fresh meat, usually served with eggs or with some diced vegetables. Once a week the Knight leaves whatever spare supplies they've scrounged up from the island; it's mostly different types of meat from various wildlife. Cracked-open Snaplings and dead Pterax, as well as the occasional Grasstail and some fish, will usually show up.

THAT'S THE TEA: Every so often, Asgore Dreemurr stops by with some of his teas.

TROPICAL SNOWBALL: Coconut cookies. Made with magic, so they never spoil. Provided by Muffet.

WE GOT SO EGG: Fried, poached, scrambled, hard-boiled, however you take them. Every couple of days, there are just bludroc eggs in the store room. Connor Murphy never explicitly says he's leaving them, but the eggs always come in a basket, and he figures that's obvious enough. Tim Wright will also scrounge up snapling, pterax, or grasstail eggs from time to time.
There are pots, cups, bowls, jugs, etc., courtesy of Gladiolus Amicitia, for eating. In addition, Edward Elric has transmuted polished wood utensils, as well as wooden plates and bowls. Tim Wright also on occasion provides carved jars, cups, bowls, etc. Connor Murphy doesn't say that the baskets he leaves around are his, but they are, and are the most conventional way of storing things at Denny.

There's more to Denny than just food, drink, and socialization. There's a wooden, hand-crafted chest at the back, within which one can find the following:
CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY: One full deck of Cards Against Humanity, provided by Connor Murphy.

CHESS BOARD: The pieces are all carved of wood, light and dark, and of fairly simple design, but there are both chess pieces and checkers.

CHESS BOARD: The pieces are all carved of wood, light and dark, and of fairly simple design, but there are both chess pieces and checkers.

DOMINOES: Wood-carved, with a storage box for keeping them in.

PLAYING CARDS: Two decks of slightly battered playing cards, left by Héctor Rivera.

TIC-TAC-TOE BOARD: Made with a basic design, with pieces for both "X's" and "O's."
The wooden pieces were provided by Tim Wright. There are no particular rules for what you use those for. The only real stipulation is that you don't permanently damage or lose any of the pieces - or that you tell Tim if you do, so he can make replacements.

These images are not accurate to the building itself (check the description if that's what you're looking for), but they are appropriate for the general vibe it's meant to evoke, if you're curious!
