[There's quite a bit of a delay before Zacharie responds, trying to put this into words where he wouldn't have to explain too much about his own world. Tutorial time, this was not.]
I was in the first level of my game, but it had gone white. You were there and we spoke for a bit. And then you transformed into
I managed to get away but it caught me in the end. And then I presume I woke up.
[Because the thing was? Zacharie can't remember the moment he woke up. There was no sudden jolt, no comical moment of falling out of his bed. The NPC just found himself in the bathroom at one point. That's all.]
[He can't say it either. He can't - god. Oh god. It's inside him and he knew that, he knew that, this isn't new, but jesus christ he doesn't need - he doesn't need anyone else seeing this. Knowing this.]
[The idea of himself transforming into such a thing would be more than distressing. It'd be horrific and this thing seemed to be connected with Tim in a manner that was nothing less than malicious, if going off the other man's reactions so far.]
There appears to be no physical damage done to me but I cannot remember waking up. This is something I should be careful about, isn't it?
[It's nice of him to apologize but it - doesn't matter. Barely matters at all. He needs to track the source. Needs to ensure this isn't indicative of a larger problem.]
[...yes, it is probably for the best to get down to business. Maybe this was just Wonderland messing with Zacharie in the end, but better safe than sorry.]
I have not. This was the first dream I had regarding that creature. Not remembering waking up is new as well, although I feel the need to mention that finding myself in a different place than I was before is not.
[Merchant and all. He'll explain it further if Tim wants but it's best to put it out there that whole 'suddenly appearing somewhere else' thing is the norm for Zacharie.]

Is there anything I can do for you Tim?
[Weird dream encouragements to be more than a merchant aside, Zacharie could still offer it if it was needed. Or something.]

[There's nothing anyone can do for him. Not now.]
