"I want to be with you. Maybe - that's all. If it hurts, I want to hold your hand and you can squeeze it for a long time. I won't leave." ₪ - ♥ - ⨁⨁⨁⨁⨁ [artist]
Lift up your eyes, child Lift up your arms, you are home I know you're hurt, child But you can't do this on your own
And I can see your blood flow And I can feel your hurt now Did you think I'd let you be alone
And I can hear your sorrow Playing through the airwaves I can tell your breath flows with my own
And I will find you somehow Let me be the salt in your wounds Clean you from the inside
I'll untie you From the strings caught in your wings And I'll try to Fill in the gaps All of the cracks they left behind

It's the children the world almost breaks who grow up to save it.
A child far too much like himself for Tim to accept the way she grew up. He met her in the form of a memory: watching her hide from the doctors who looked on impassively when children flatlined in a hospital bed. He understands the need to hide a little too much, and the fact that she knows he understands is, likewise, more than a little terrifying. Fortunately, his desire to ensure that she knows she's not alone in that far surpasses his fear.
He only wishes that she wouldn't be so adamant in her desire to help him, instead of accepting things the other way around. But then again...he isn't exactly putting forth a good example as far as letting things lie go.
